And what kind of oil consumption did you achieve over that period?

I never really measured, but it was considerably lower than all the other 2008 models I'd come across...

But I will definitely start measuring now with the new top end... (as it should not use any oil anymore...)

Hey chaps. RevivING this thread as I'm very interested in who has what mileage now and mechanical issues if any. I'm currently on 19 600km on a 2012 model. Oil consumption about 200 odd mm every 1200km or so.

I am at 132,000 km. I have had the stator replaced (more of an issue on the fugly) and am now looking at the balancer chain and cam chain. That is quite the internal things. Otherwise, also the shock has been refurbished once and I think it is due for another.

That is some serious kilos. Is it the first time that you are going to replace those chains? Rest of the engine still standard?

85 000km came up this afternoon. No drame since the previous service. Flushed the radiator and filled with fresh antifreeze.

According to my rough calculations I had to add about 500ml of oil over a distance of 4 000km. Let's see how long before it becomes excessive.

Ok, so last week I looked down and realised that I had the oldest Fugly on the road! :(

Next moment I looked down, and to my surprise, it was the newest Fugly on the road!!
Imagine that! 0 km on the clock.

Best of all, she still purrs like a kitten and the oil consumption is still waaaaayyy below what I have seen floating around. Maybe purring is a bit of an overstatement - it actually thumps!
