The LED down light as a spot. Very bright to 10 meters or so. Sorry, no tutorial photos. Used Lumaglo 4 cool white from Checkers, about R70 ea. Cut 25mm pvc pipe to cover the back connectors, added a 25mm plug to close the tube. Flattened a piece of 25mm pipe to form the bracket. Heated it with a heat gun till soft and pressed flat. Glued everything with Q Bond. Added a relay per light connected to the indicator light. This way the spot flashes out of sinc with the indicator. Indicator on, spot off, and vice versa. Now the indicator is visable when flashing, and the flashing spot draws additional attention. Shines steady when not indicating.

Try Ali electronic on pta west. You can buy spots for around R200 a pair. Cheaper than making I think

Modded standard foot rest from scrap flat bar. No more slippery when wet
