If I pull my front brake then the brake light does not come on, the back brake is working fine.

Any suggestions why and how to fix it.

There is an electrical switch on the front brake. It will be either the switch itself or a break in the wiring from/to the switch. I've never opened it up, so that is about how much info I have for you! Have a look here as well: www.klrforum.com/2008-klr650-wrenching-m...ke-light-switch.html

I took the switch off at the bottom and it looked okay and I can hear the switch click if I pull the front brakes.

in that case I would start checking wires. Either broken off, loose or maybe just a plug

Pull the two wires off the switch and with the ignition on hold them together.
If the brake light now works its the switch that's faulty.
I have had to replace quite a few of them.

I did just that and the light comes on, the switch is buggered. Where can I find one of those little switch's? I am working at OR Tambo and stay in Alberton!
