;) Great. Thanks for the info

Sadly I am in the same position as Anton.. Is there anyone in the GP area that can help with a recon?

John

On Gumtree there is somebody parting out a new shape, looks like the shock is still available.

Game Services are the Racetech agents so they will have both the racetech seal kits as well as the complete replacement heads. They can be reached on:
011 425 1081. They do send parts out nation wide.

I would also suggest you try MP Custom Valve as they are closer to your side: 021 551 8844

Just have a good look at your shaft, I have quite often seen that when the rear shock blows seals that the high working area of the rod is worn through the chroming, usually around 0.2mm smaller in diameter there. MP Custom Valve would be able to repair and re-chrome that, but you will be in for a bit of a wait.

Let's do dirty!

Thanks Ryderod

Tried the JHB number but stays busy, will keep on trying, MP needs me to send the shock to CPT, for now, that's not going to happen.

I had my rear shock looked at by Chris Shinn years ago. He is based in Walmer.

Not sure if the number I have for him still works but: oh 8 three six 5 four seven three 9 seven
