Hi There
I need some advice regarding a stripped fitting that goes into the carburetor that holds the choke cable. I see on the internet that it seems to be a regular problem on the KLRS. I see that some guys machine a little Teflon bush that goes in there.
I had some problems recently with my bike just cutting out. I cleaned the carburetor and discovered this problem. I hope fitting a "new" choke cable adaptor will solve the problem. Maybe someone got some spares/advice for this.

Cheers

Super Glue it in until you can get a new one. Did you get a price from kawa?
Make yourself a be t 12mm spanner or cut open end off an old 12mm spanner and weld onto the end of an old screwdriver to use as tool to screw it in next time.
I like to drink lots of beer??

Hi Dieseldawie
I got a fitting at Doc KLR and also bought a new diaphragm for the fuel tap and really made sure to be very careful when I put the carburettor back not to disturb the choke fitting arrangement. She is running fine now.
Thanks for the advice.
