Looking to install a 1.0 oversize piston in a 2007 KLR

OEM parts (have to seperatly buy piston, rings, circlips and gundeon pin) amounts to R3200.

Problem is that piston is only available on back order - 3 to 5 weeks.

See that NS 2 stroke sells a kit for R2995 - ns2stroke.co.za/product/klr650-1995-2007...ton-kits-pn-01-4687/

No real saving in money, but in time.

A few questions -

1. These pistons any good?
2. Any other available options?

Thanks

Thanks Keith, that is very interesting.

Could go well with the car valves already in the reconditioned head :)
