Hi Guys,
Actually been a member for a couple of months now but just did not get around to the introduction

.
Well here goes..
Been riding for some time - Wouldnt say i am much of a fundi when it comes to bike riding at all and would place myself in the beginner class if you can call it that

but i sure do like to learn as much as i can hence joining the forum..

and learning from most of you advanced riders out there..
I recently got myself a 2012 KLR 650

and never looking back since.. actually enjoying the heck out of it, low maintenance and very reliable - Was not sure in the beginning what i was actually looking for until i saw it, low range torque when ever you need it and more than enough grunt out of the gates for n beginner ADV rider. This is really a bike i enjoy riding - My Boet is also an avid rider but prefers the faster life on a R6 and having driven the R6 myself just couldn't find the comfortable factor on it as that of the KLR. I have also been on a couple of runs in and around the Vaal and Parys with him and some of our other biker buddies and the bike compares fairly well even though it is not a Superbike and comfortably doing 130 -140KM\h with the crew has not been an issue at all.. the plus factor is that I can go where most superbikes cant and that is more than ever the most beautiful spots in the country..
Anyway guys, thanks for the awesome site hope to ride with you guys soon and read more of the awesome trips and tips..
God Bless and Stay Safe
